Article XXIX. HULL ANNEXATION  


(1)

Territory annexed. In accordance with Wis. Stats. § 66.021, and the petition for direct annexation filed with the city clerk of the City of Milton on the seventh day of May, 1997, with no electors residing in the territory, and Hull Farms, Inc. by Kerry Hull, President and Velma Hull, Secretary, being the sole owner of all of the land in this territory, the following described territory in the Town of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin, shall be annexed to the City of Milton, to-wit:

Part of the SE one-fourth of the SW one-fourth and part of the SW one-fourth of the SE one-fourth of section 26, T.4N., R.13E. of the fourth P.M., Town of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin.

Described as follows: Bounded on the south by the north R.O.W. (right-of-way) line of State Trunk Highway "59"; bounded on the west by the east line of the previously described 25 acre parcel; bounded on the north by the Central Wisconsin Railroad line; bounded on the east by a line parallel with the west line of this description and having a front footage of 910 feet on Highway 59, encompassing ten acres, more or less, exclusive of lands within the existing railroad right-of-way.

Effect of annexation. From and after the date of this ordinance, the territory described in subsection (1) shall be a part of the City of Milton for any and all purposes provided by law and all persons currently residing within such territory shall be subject to all ordinances, rules and regulations governing the City of Milton.

Temporary zoning classification. The territory annexed to the City of Milton by this ordinance is temporarily designed to be zoned M-1 industrial first class for zoning purposes and shall be designated such on the city zoning map.

Ward designation. The territory described in subsection (1) of this ordinance is hereby made a part of ward 2 of the City of Milton.

Effective date of ordinance. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication as provided by law.
