Article XXX. CITY-OWNED PROPERTY (EASTSIDE - 30 FEET) (ORD #96 Created 07/02/1998)  

(1)

Territory annexed. In accordance with Wis. Stats. § 66.025, and the petition for annexation of owned property filed with the city clerk of the City of Milton on the 28th day of May, 1998, with no electors residing in the territory, and City of Milton, by Brent Sutherland, Mayor, and Lawrence Delo, City Administrator, being the sole owner of all of the land in this territory, the following described territory in the Town of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin, shall be annexed to the City of Milton, to-wit:

Approximately the easterly 30 minutes of Lot 2, Certified Survey Map recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Rock County, Wisconsin, on May 26, 1998. at 11:52 a.m. as Document #1372373 in Volume 21, Pages 225, 226 and 227 of Certified Survey Maps and being part of the SW one-fourth of the SE one-fourth of the SE one-fourth of section, T.4N., R.13E. of the fourth P.M., City of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin.

Effective date of annexation. From and after the date of this ordinance, the territory described in subsection (1) shall be a part of the City of Milton for any and all purposes provided by law and all persons currently residing within such territory shall be subject to all ordinances, rules and regulations governing the City of Milton.

Temporary zoning classification. The territory annexed to the City of Milton by this ordinance is temporarily designed to be zoned M-1, industrial first class, for zoning purposes and shall be designated such on the city zoning map.

Ward designation. The territory described in subsection (1) of this ordinance is hereby made a part of ward 2 of the City of Milton.

Effective date of annexation. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication as provided by law.
