Article XXXI. SCHILBERG PARK ANNEXATION (ORD.#109 Created 03/15/1999)

Territory annexed. In accordance with Wis. Stats. § 66.021, and the petition for annexation of owned property filed with the city clerk of the City of Milton on the first day of February, 1999, with no electors residing in the territory, and the Milton Agricultural & FFA Foundation (owner of Parcel A) and the School District of Milton (owner of Parcel B), being the sole owners of all land in this territory, the following described territory in the Town of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin, shall be annexed to the City of Milton, to-wit:

Parcel A: The northeast quarter (NE one-fourth) of the northeast quarter NE one-fourth) of section 33, excepting, however, the following described parcel from the above tract, to-wit: Commencing at the middle of the highway directly north of the northeast corner of the above tract, thence west a distance of approximately 22.66 rods, thence directly south a distance of approximately 18.6 rods; thence east at right angles a distance of approximately 22.66, and thence northerly along the east line to the point of beginning; said parcel so excepted containing approximately 2.63 acres. Parcel located in section 33, T.4N., R.13E., Township of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin.

Parcel B: Commencing at the middle of the highway directly north of the northeast corner of the above tract, thence west a distance of approximately 22.66 rods, thence directly south a distance of approximately 18.6 rods; thence east at right angles a distance of approximately 22.66 rods, and thence northerly along the east line to the point of beginning; said parcel so excepted containing approximately 2.63 acres. Parcel located in section 33, T.4N., R.13E., Township of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin.

Effective date of annexation. From and after the date of this ordinance, the territory described in subsection (1) shall be a part of the City of Milton for any and all purposes provided by law and all persons currently residing within such territory shall be subject to all ordinances, rules and regulations governing the City of Milton.

Temporary zoning classification. The territory annexed to the City of Milton by this ordinance is temporarily designed to be zoned R-3 for zoning purposes and shall be designated such on the city zoning map.

Ward designation. The territory described in subsection (1) of this ordinance is hereby made a part of ward 6 of the City of Milton.

Effective date of annexation. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication as provided by law.
