(1) Territory annexed. In accordance with Wis. Stats. § 66.021(12), the following described territory in the Town of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin, owned by Freedom Graphics Systems, Inc. and lying contiguous to the present city boundary is hereby annexed to the City of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin: All of the following described property: Lot One of a Certified Survey Map recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Rock County, Wisconsin, on August 30, 1979, in Volume 8, pages 497 and 498, as Document No. 912655, being part of the east one-half of the S.E. one-fourth of section 34, T.4N., R.13 E. of the fourth P.M., Milton Township, County of Rock, State of Wisconsin. Containing a total of approximately 6.0 acres, more or less. (2) Effect of annexation. From and after the date of this ordinance, the territory described in subsection (1) shall be a part of the City of Milton for any and all purposes provided by law and all persons coming or residing within such territory shall be subject to all ordinances, rules and regulations governing the City of Milton. (3) Zoning classification. The territory annexed to the City of Milton by this ordinance shall be zoned B-2. (4) Ward designation. The territory described in subsection (1) of this ordinance is hereby made a part of the third ward of the City of Milton subject to the ordinances, rules and regulations of the city governing wards. (5) Severability. If any provision of this ordinance is invalid or unconstitutional, or if the application of this ordinance to any person or circumstances is invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the provisions or applications of this ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid or unconstitutional provision or application. (6) Effective date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication. |
