(1) Territory annexed. In accordance with Wis. Stats. § 66.021, and the petition for annexation of owned property filed with the city clerk of the City of Milton on the tenth of October, 2002, with no electors residing in the territory, and Philip and Diana Reisterer, being the sole owners of all land in this territory, the following described territory in the Town of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin, shall be annexed to the City of Milton, to-wit: Part of the northeast quarter of section 33, township 4 north, range 13 east, Milton Township, Rock County, Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows to-wit: Commencing at the northeast corner of said section; thence south 00 degrees 33 minutes 27 seconds west, along the northeast quarter of said section, a distance of 1,331.25 feet, to the north line of the north 28 acres of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of said section, and the point of beginning for the following described parcel; thence continuing south 00 degrees 33 minutes 27 seconds west, along the east line of the northeast quarter of said section, a distance of 42.00 feet; thence north 88 degrees 20 minutes 53 seconds west, 390.00 feet; thence north 00 degrees 33 minutes 27 seconds east, 42.00 feet, to its intersection with the north line of the north 28 acres of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of said section, thence S 88 degrees 20 minutes 53 seconds east along the north line of the north 28 acres of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of said section, a distance of 390.00 feet to the point of beginning. Situated in the Town of Milton, County of Rock, and State of Wisconsin. (2) Effective date of annexation. From and after the date of this ordinance, the territory described in subsection (1) shall be a part of the City of Milton for any and all purposes provided by law and all persons currently residing within such territory shall be subject to all ordinances, rules and regulations governing the City of Milton. (3) Temporary zoning classification. The territory annexed to the City of Milton by this ordinance is temporarily designed to be zoned R-3 for zoning purposes and shall be designated such on the city zoning map. (4) Ward designation. The territory described in subsection (1) of this ordinance is hereby made a part of ward 6 of the City of Milton. (5) Effective date of annexation. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication as provided by law. |
